The remarkable Nieuwe Kerk is world famous for its beautiful architecture, changing exhibitions and the special relationship with the House of Orange, the Dutch royal family.
The church was used for several special occasions by the royal family. Three kings and three queens have sworn the inaugural oath at the church, and in 2002 the current king and queen exchanged vows in front of the church's choir screen. It hosts regularly changing temporary exhibitions.
This spectacular, 15th-century church is located in the center of Amsterdam on Dam Square, right next to the Royal Palace.
