2. PortAventura World rides, attractions, and roller coasters

PortAventura World rides include some of the most thrilling roller coasters in Europe. Take on the Shambhala roller coaster, one of the highest and fastest roller coasters in Europe.
It’ll whip your hair into a frenzy on a joyride up to 205 kilometers per hour. Or, if you’re feeling ultra brave, take on the Dragon Khan roller coaster, with nine inversions and heart-pumping speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour. Don’t forget to pack a spare pair of pants – eek!

5. Cool off at PortAventura World’s Caribe Aquatic Park

Get ready to make a splash at one of the largest water parks in Europe! Known for its Caribbean-themed decor and atmosphere, Caribe Aquatic Park is the place to take your little pirates, and its shady areas make it the perfect spot to cool off in the summer.

7. Catch a PortAventura World event or show

PortAventura World offers a variety of events and shows throughout the year. From talking parrots in Aves del Paraíso to thousands of soap bubbles in Bubblebou, there’s no shortage of amusement for your eyeballs! Here are some specific events and shows to look out for:
Easter Season
Spring is here and we celebrate it in style, along with the arrival of good weather, with the Easter Celebration. If you want to experience a unique and joy-filled celebration, you can do so at PortAventura World. Between 22 March and 17 May, you’ll be able to enjoy many new additions and more hours of adventures.
Halloween

8. Stay at the Hotel PortAventura
The Hotel PortAventura is a fantastic choice if you and the family don’t want to move too far from the action. It’s a replica of a charming Mediterranean fishing village complete with pretty streets to explore, lovely lakes, lush vegetation, and waterfalls.

How to get to PortAventura World

There are several ways to get to PortAventura World, depending on your preferences and location.
By car 🚘
If you’re traveling by car, PortAventura World is located just off the AP-7 motorway. You can easily reach the park from cities such as Barcelona or Valencia. Simply enter the park’s address into your GPS or mapping app to find the best route.
By bus 🚍
There are several bus companies that will take you to PortAventura World from various locations in Spain. For example, the Plana bus company offers direct services from Barcelona and Salou. Check the company’s website for schedules and pricing.
By train 🚆
If you prefer to take the train, you can take the RENFE train to the nearby station of PortAventura. From there, it’s just a short walk to the park. Alternatively, hop on the high-speed AVE train to the nearby city of Tarragona and then take a taxi or bus to the park.
