The Winner Selection Process
The Remarkable Venue Awards, now in their ninth year, recognize outstanding venues and experiences from the diverse array of offerings on Tiqets. Nominees have been selected based on 2.5 million reviews of venues and experiences on our platform, from six of the world’s favorite travel destinations: Spain, Italy, France, Benelux, Portugal, Spain and UK & IE.
For each region, the nominees have competed across six award categories:
Best Museum
The Best Museum award recognizes the best museums and art galleries featured on Tiqets.com.
Best Landmark
This category recognizes venues such as cathedrals, churches (or any place of worship), castles, palaces, historical or iconic landmarks, and observation decks.
Best Family Experience
This award honors the best family-friendly attractions such as theme parks, zoos, and waterparks that appeal to all types of visitors.
Best Activity
This award recognizes stand-out activities, experiences, and attractions: from culinary experiences to sightseeing tours.
Best Hidden Gem
A hidden gem refers to something which is outstanding, unique, or special. This award category focuses on highlighting lesser-known and more niche attractions to travelers worldwide.
Most Remarkable Venue
As the winner of all winners, the Remarkable Venue Award is presented chosen based on the combined criteria of best performance on our platform and highest review ranking.
The 5 winners per region will then have the chance to win the prestigious title of Most Remarkable Venue in their region.

About the Remarkable Venue Awards
Organized by Tiqets since 2016, the Remarkable Venue Awards are an international celebration of outstanding museums, attractions and experiences worldwide.
The awards recognize outstanding venues and experiences in five distinctive categories, reflecting the diverse array of remarkable experiences offered on Tiqets. Each year, the winners for Best Museum, Best Landmark, Best Family Experience, Best Hidden Gem, Best Activity and Most Remarkable Venue, are recognised for their performance.
Since 2024, the Remarkable Venue Awards are held regionally in six of the world’s favorite travel destinations: France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the UK. The awards therefore highlight industry excellence in each of these countries, bringing attention to the best of the best.
