Moco Museum

The Modern Contemporary (Moco) Museum Amsterdam is housed inside Villa Alsberg, a 1904 townhouse in the middle of Amsterdam Museumplein. High-profile guest curators and exhibitions highlight some of the modern world's best contributors to the art world. Eduard Cuypers, cousin of Rijksmuseum designer Pierre Cuypers, designed the townhouse, making it a sight to see in itself. But the work inside is absolutely phenomenal; two current attractions showcase the work of street art activist Banksy, and pop artist extraordinaire, Andy Warhol.

Moco Museum - Banksy Exhibition: Skip The Line
Excellent show. The Banksy exhibit was larger than I expected. It was nicely paired with Icy & Sot, which I had never heard of. This too was an excellent & thought provoking exhibit. I only wish more pieces were part of the audio tour. I would have liked more background stories throughout.

Canal Cruise & Moco Museum
The Moco Museum was exceptionally digestible and very interesting. The Canal Cruise was handy, we discovered some new places from it which we visited the following day and it was very leisurely, if a bit hot. The sound quality of the tour was very good, although it got a little out of sync with our location at some points. My one criticism is that my neck hurt a little from sitting so low in the water and looking up at the sights. But overall both experiences were really wonderful and I would wholeheartedly recommend them again!
