Sehr interessantes Museum. Alles zum Anfassen und gut verständlich da mit Praxisbezug. Das Schiff hat uns extrem beeindruckt. Die Dimensionen und die handwerkliche Verarbeitung sind absolut sehenswert. Ich habe so etwas selber noch nie gesehen und fand es besonders spannend, dass man überall hin durfte und den Handwerkern bei der Arbeit zusehen durfte.

Das Batavialand ist eine historische Besucherattraktion in Lelystad in den Niederlanden. Es hat seinen Namen von der originalgetreuen Rekonstruktion des niederländischen Handelsschiffs Batavia, das 1629 auf seiner Jungfernfahrt sank.
Das Batavialand umfasst zahlreiche Werkstätten und interaktive Museumsexponate, die den Besucher in das 17. Jahrhundert zurückversetzen und ihm ein ebenso lehrreiches wie unterhaltsames Erlebnis bieten.
