About: Zaanse Schans Tours

Situated on the picturesque Zaan River, Zaanse Schans is an open-air museum that features six working windmills, historic houses, and craft shops. Amble about its quaint lanes and you'll find yourself understanding just how the Dutch lived (and prospered!) in bygone centuries. All of that as you see windmills hard at work and clogs being made.
