Kunsthistorisches Museum

Admire the art collection that belongs to the once-mighty Habsburg family with pieces by Caravaggio and Titian - and many other essential Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces. Viennese classical composers once made sweet music with some of the instruments in the Historical Musical Instruments section. There are also impressive collections of coins, arms and armor, as well as Egyptian, Near Eastern, Greek, and Roman antiquities.

The world first class museum. The building itself is the art of work. There are sofas for the people who need to rest, too. Must see.

Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien: Skip The Line
With its vast wealth of art objects and paintings collected by the Habsburgs over many centuries, the Kunsthistorisches is one of the greatest art galleries in the world. The magnificent building itself is the star of the show. It and its flanking natural history museum would have to be the most sumptuous purpose-built museums ever erected.

Allow lots of time. Full of treasures. Great if you can get there first thing - had a room full of Brueghel to myself.
