Since the basilica is a functioning place of worship, the basilica conducts mass at specified times, which are free for worshippers to attend. During mass times, guided tours and access to the towers is not permitted.

Entry is free for children under 11, people with disabilities (and their companions), and unemployed Spanish residents on specific Wednesday evenings.
