From forests to steppes, the park offers stunning scenery. I didn't see animals, but I went in February, when most hibernate. I'm coming again ASAP. It's a beautiful, vast park, great for hiking...

Jako człowiekowi wychowanemu w małej miejscowości w lesie a później zamieszkałemu w mieście ten park to powrut do korzeni , do dzieciństwa . Jestem pod wrażeniem ogromu i majestatu natury . Rzecz która mi się nie podoba to nadmierna interwencja człowieka w to środowisko .

Step back in time to when there was no electricity and all labor was done by hand. Two separate routes through the museum lead you past 160 old crafts, jobs and shops. There are daily demonstrations of crafts, from basket weaving and clock repair, to glass works and printing. Besides crafts you’ll find tons of toys here. Antique dolls, working toy trains, old children's tableware, Steiff teddy bears, and Meccano! The museum also offers plenty of fun scavenger hunts through the past for kids young and old. Inside there is an activity room for fun games and outside you’ll find an old Dutch games area.

Amersfoort Zoo

Seven themed zones, inventive ways to explore each area – including rafts, pedal boats, slides, and rope bridges – and exotic animals from around the world; Amersfoort Zoo is the perfect place for kids to discover the animal kingdom! They can expect to feed birds right out of their hand, stare down over a bear's den, and come face to face with lions. See red pandas, lemurs, tigers, camels and crocodiles! The list goes on and on, but the stars of mother nature are all here. And if real-life animals somehow aren't entertaining enough, kids can visit the Dinopark and see 70 dinosaurs brought to life, as well as enjoy four unique playgrounds.

Nijmegen

muZIEum

A guided tour at Nijmegen's muZIEum isn't like other museum tours. Led by partially sighted and blind staff, the tours focus on showing people what life is like for those without perfect or near-perfect vision. Take on everyday tasks in lifelike exhibits, without using one of the senses that we take for granted the most. Talk to your guides, hear their experiences, and get an entirely different perspective on everyday life.
