Amazing tour! Cannot recommend it enough. Robert was an amazing guide, answering all of my questions and listening to my stories. The drive is long but broken up wonderfully with bathroom stops...

Amazing tour! Cannot recommend it enough. Robert was an amazing guide, answering all of my questions and listening to my stories. The drive is long but broken up wonderfully with bathroom stops and snack stops and lunch and dinner stops. The sites are just breathtaking! I learned a lot about the area as well. Get a good nights rest and wear comfortable layers as the temperature fluctuates throughout the day. If you have little ones, make sure to bring snacks and something to keep them occupied during the longer drives. I plan to do this tour again when family come to town. And if you can, do the helicopter tour! You will NOT regret it!!

Sobre: Dotze Apòstols (Great Ocean Road)

Els Dotze Apòstols és un lloc popular situat a la vora del Parc Nacional de Port Campbell, al costat de la Great Ocean Road a Victoria, Austràlia. Aquestes pilotes de pedra calcària esclaten de l'aigua molt a prop les unes de les altres, de manera que pots navegar fins a cada una d'elles.

Et preguntes com es van formar? Les condicions meteorològiques extremes van arribar des de l'Oceà Antàrtic i, amb el temps, van erosionar la pedra calcària tova. Això va ajudar a formar diferents coves en els penya-segats, que es van transformar en arcs que finalment es van col·lapsar, deixant aquesta impressionant pila de roques que s'estén fins a 50 metres d'alçada. Veure els Dotze Apòstols és veure una peça real de la història d'Austràlia!
