What's On

Get lost in the beauty of Woodland Park Rose Garden. Stroll through 2.5 acres of formal landscape and enjoy some 3,000 roses representing over 200 different varieties.

The large variety of roses blend elegantly with the garden's formal architectural to create a memorable landscape. The garden has flourished thanks to building healthy soils, planting right for the site, practicing smart watering, trying alternatives to pesticides, and introducing natural lawn care

Fun fact: because the Rose Garden is pesticide-free (since 2006), the spent flowers can be fed to animals in the zoo, most notably the gorillas who have become quite fond of them!

The Rose Garden has free entry, however, guests will need to pay to park at the zoo. The price is $6 for the first two hours, and $2 for each additional hour. $12.00 maximum daily rate (+ taxes and fees).
