Your adventure begins in Versailles, as you meet your expert local guide at the foot of the equestrian statue of the Sun King, Louis XIV. You can also pay a visit to the lesser-known but fascinating Domaine de Marie-Antoinette, where the ill-fated queen pretended to be a commoner.
