St. Mary's Medieval Mile Museum

Opened in 2017, Kilkenny’s Medieval Mile Museum tells the stories of the wealthy merchants who built and attended St. Mary's church and ruled over the city of Kilkenny between 1200 and 1650. The setting of the museum is the 13th-century St. Mary’s church and graveyard. The Mill Tour is an interactive experience, where the weavers chat with visitors while they work and explain the full weaving process, from raw wool to the finished product.
