The original Madame Tussaud, Marie, created her first wax sculpture in 1777 (of French philosopher/writer Voltaire). Now, all these years later, the principle is still going strong. This venerable institution combines modern celebrity with historical figures, sports legends, silver screen icons and cultural giants. You’ll find the British royal family rubbing shoulders with George Clooney, and you can contrast One Direction with the original boy band, The Beatles.
You can go on a selfie rampage at Madame Tussauds London, with your favorite stars of music, film, and the arts (not so many philosopher/writers these days though).

We were asked to pay an extra £3 each to see the Star Wars collection but all thoroughly worth it.
Most impressed by wax models and the 3D super hero film was awesome. Fabulous value for money, wish we had the time to stay longer! Would definitely use Tiqets again as we also saved £35.
