Animal feedings (available on site for an extra cost)
  • Pygmy hippos, porcupines, and penguins – they're all here, and that's only a fraction of the animals
  • Admire a huge array of avian species, including emus, rare curassows, and colorful Temminck's tragopan
  • Monkey around with tamarins, lemurs, marmosets, chimps and even more simian species

The Lagos Zoo started with a passion for animals, and in the last 20 years it has grown to a haven of conservation. There are 48 enclosures to find throughout your visit, covering everything from warm-blooded to cold, and from sky to sea.

If you're an animal lover, there's enough to keep you fascinated for the whole day, from chimpan-A to chimpan-Z. You can even bring lunch and a swimming suit along – the zoo has its own picnic area and swimming pool.
