Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe-shaped valley that was formed over billions of years on the Colorado River, close to the town of Page, Arizona. Horseshoe Bend is situated just 5 miles downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell, and sits within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
