Fornells
Fornells Tower
This defensive tower on the Minorcan coast was built between 1801 and 1802 during its British occupancy. It served the purpose of guarding the entrance to the port of Fornells, protecting the nearby castle of San Antonio by preventing enemy landings.
It is located north of the town of Fornells on the spit of land that separates the entrance of the port from the beach of Tirant.
