With interactive multimedia installations throughout, the Samurai Museum presents one of the world's most extensive private collections showcasing samurai culture – 1,000 original objects from armor and weapons to woodblock prints and costumes from Noh theater that feature impressive Japanese craftsmanship
Follow the fox Kitsune on an interactive journey through the lifestyle, art, and traditions of Japan's legendary knights. More than 1.000 objects reveal the extraordinary artistry of traditional Japanese craftsmanship, while multimedia installations bring the popular era to life.
Zoom in on gigapixel images to uncover incredible details, catch yokai, follow the labor-intensive processes of Japanese sword making, solve riddles, and watch exclusive one-of-a-kind Noh and Taiko performances on an original Noh stage.

Pergamon Museum
The popular Pergamon Museum in Berlin is a great solution to a first world problem; it was built because there wasn't enough room in the nearby Bode Museum for all its artistic and archaeological relics. Construction carried on even through WWI and the great inflation of the 1920s. The then completed Pergamon was also badly damaged at the end of WWII (though fortunately its contents escaped damage).
NOTE: The Pergamon Museum will be closed until 2027.
