We were traveling with a 9 and 5 year old. Our main focus was to go to the Labyrinth which was good. We would have been fine with that. However, it was not clear that the visit was a 3 part...

We were traveling with a 9 and 5 year old. Our main focus was to go to the Labyrinth which was good. We would have been fine with that. However, it was not clear that the visit was a 3 part guided tour. It was interesting to see the Library, but found the Vatican Chapels very strange. The "world's most beautiful" theater was under reconstruction.

Molto interessante il labirinto ed il restauro. Vatican chapels : le brutture dei e come i nostri tempi. Dio lo vorrebbero morto.

This is an excellent tour, especially the Vatican Chappell. My guide Alicia was great and knowledgeable and answered every question I asked . Highly recommended!

About: Vatican Chapels

The Pavilion was built on the occasion of the first participation of the Holy See in the Architecture Biennale; ten architects - from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Great Britain, USA, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Chile, Serbia and Paraguay - were called by Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi to each build a chapel, starting from the model of the "chapel in the woods ”By Gunnar Asplund, built in 1920 in the Stockholm cemetery. The result is precisely the Vatican Chapels, new and unprecedented models, placed in a natural and abstract environment, and now on permanent display in the woods of the Giorgio Cini Foundation.
