Tips for visiting Tivoli Gardens

Your Tivoli Gardens tickets give you access to some of the best theme park rides in the world. As one of the world's oldest continuously operating amusements parks, Tivoli boasts a huge range of rides and attractions suitable for all ages. From charming fairground favorites like chair-o-planes, carousels, and wooden rides, to rip-roaring rollercoasters, gigantic tower free-fall rides, haunted houses, and more, there's no end to the adrenaline-pumping fun at Tivoli Gardens.

Tivoli Gardens is located right in the heart of Copenhagen city center, so you really can't miss it! The park is also conveniently located right beside Copenhagen Central railway station, so it's easily accessible by public transport if you're traveling from outside the Danish capital. The ultra-central and accessible location is part of why Tivoli Gardens is the fifth-most visited amusement park in all of Europe.

Tivoli Gardens is a seasonal amusement park and as such, the park is open for specific seasonal windows throughout the year. The park has three main seasons – Christmas, Halloween, and Summer.

Halloween at Tivoli takes place from the middle of October to early November. Tivoli Christmas begins in mid-November and runs until the end of the year. Summer season at Tivoli runs between April and September.

Tivoli Gardens is a seasonal theme park, and so the character of the park changes dramatically throughout the year to match the current season. If you are a sweet summer child who loves nothing more than endless days of bright sunshine, flower power, and blossoming nature, then the Summer Season at Tivoli is for you.

More a fan of the darker side of life? Halloween at Tivoli has you more than covered with scary attention to detail in the spooky decoration department. Of course, the most wonderful time of the year is also a magical time to visit Tivoli, with the Tivoli Christmas season being one of the most enchanting festive experiences in Copenhagen. Whatever your seasonal preference is, your Tivoli Gardens tickets will guarantee a great time!

There are dozens of places to eat and drink at Tivoli Gardens, with bars, restaurants, cafes, and snack shacks all around the park. Whether you are in the mood for tasty pub grub, pizza, rotisserie chicken, or for deluxe sandwiches, you are sure to find your favorite food at Tivoli.
