Considered both the last of the Old Masters and a pioneer of modern art, Francisco Goya was prolific in his output of drawings and prints throughout a career that spanned six decades.

The Met's Goya’s Graphic Imagination features over 100 works, chronicling his creative evolution and artistic approach. The exhibit considers the way in which Goya expressed his perception of a volatile and changing world, with highlights including the striking and controversial Seated Giant, as well as works loaned from New York, Boston, and Madrid.
