As a first timer to Acropolis, the place is amazing. We wear comfortable hiking shoes as some of the walk ways are very uneven. There were tons of people there so your pictures would include a lot...

As a first timer to Acropolis, the place is amazing. We wear comfortable hiking shoes as some of the walk ways are very uneven. There were tons of people there so your pictures would include a lot of other people. We purchased the tickets ahead of time to bypass the ticket line. I didn't see any skip the line ticket line. So I think buying the tickets ahead of time and avoiding the ticket line is skip the line tickets.

As a first timer in Athen, Acropolis is amazing even with millions of other people. It is a must visit place. Buy the ticket ahead of time to avoid a long ticket line. Make sure you wear proper shoes as some of the places have uneven walkway.
