About: Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary is the sanctuary and natural habitat of the Balinese long-tailed macaque, located at Padangtegal Ubud, Bali. With a population of around 1,049 monkeys, roaning around the spacious 12.5-hectare habitat, it's one of the region's most important primate sanctuaries and one of Bali's most unique and unmissable attractions.
