The Nordkette Cable Car, or Innsbrucker Nordkettenbahnen, is a mountain gondola lift located in the Austrian state of Tyrol. As the name suggests the gondola ferries people from Innsbruck to the Nordkette, the southernmost mountain chain of the Karwendel. The cable car runs in two sections from the Innsbruck quarter of Hungerburg via Seegrube Station, to the top station, Hafelekar, which is a dizzying 2,269 m above sea level! The cableway is the transport hub of the Innsbrucker Nordkettenbahnen ski resort.
