The Mining Museum of Hall in Tirol provides an insight into the history of salt extraction in Austria. It consists of recreation of the Hall valley mines, which were shot down in 1967.

Galleries, shafts, tools, minerals, a chute and much more demonstrate what it was really like to go underground. The Mining Museum (opened 1928) is in the center of Hall in Tirol's Old Town, North Tyrol, Austria.

The Nordkette Cable Car, or Innsbrucker Nordkettenbahnen, is a mountain gondola lift located in the Austrian state of Tyrol. As the name suggests the gondola ferries people from Innsbruck to the Nordkette, the southernmost mountain chain of the Karwendel. The cable car runs in two sections from the Innsbruck quarter of Hungerburg via Seegrube Station, to the top station, Hafelekar, which is a dizzying 2,269 m above sea level!
