Good
The Castle is steeped in history and that history is well presented with good narrative. The condition of the castle is excellent and it is a wonderful experience.

The Cité de Carcassonne is a historic fortified city in southern France with origins from the Gallo-Roman period. It features double defensive walls with 52 watchtowers, a castle with a museum, a Gothic cathedral, and other notable historic buildings. It inspired the popular board game Carcassonne and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997.
