Delve into the rich human history of Canadian culture at the Canadian Museum of History. Impressive from the get-go, make sure to spend some time in the museum's architectural centrepiece, the Grand Hall, where you can enjoy views of Parliament Hill through the curving, six-storey window wall. The large totems and six Native houses connected by a Pacific Coast shoreline and boardwalk set up the rest of your journey perfectly. As you prepare to wander through the country's storied past, the exhibitions will shed light on each subject along the way.

The Everson Museum of Art is for everyone, a place where community connects and inspiration surrounds you. The Everson is a museum of firsts. It was the first museum to dedicate itself to the collection of American art, to create a permanent collection of ceramics, to collect video art, to create a docent program and to hire the now internationally-known architect I.M. Pei to design its building, a sculptural work of art in its own right. The Everson is home to over 10,000 works of art: American paintings, sculpture, drawings, video, graphics and one of the largest holdings of international ceramics in the nation.
