About: Burj Al Arab

The Burj Al Arab Hotel was completed in November 1999, in time for the millennium celebrations. The goal was to create an icon for Dubai, a building that would become synonymous with the place; just as Sydney has the Opera House and Paris the Eiffel Tower. Needless to say they succeeded. The eye-catching sail-shaped hotel stands 321 metres high on a man-made island in the Arabian Gulf. The 202 super luxurious suites inside are accessed from one of the tallest atriums in the world.

Experience this global icon of Arabian luxury in Dubai, UAE.

View from Burj Khalifa by night
The Burj Khalifa is indisputably the tallest building in the world. It contains high-end homes, global companies, and of course, a swanky Armani Hotel. At 830 meters high, it's truly a testament to human ingenuity. Only the 124th, 125th, and 148th floor are open to the public. As you can imagine, the views from this shining beacon of progress in a desert by the ocean are pretty spectacular.

Ski Dubai is a truly amazing place where you can enjoy winter sports in the blazing Arabian desert. The snow here is real – they cool to interior to -6° at night and produce the snow then - so every morning there's fresh powder! The result is a whole lot of fun (out of the sun). You can try out bobsledding, tobogganing and of course the absurdly fun Giant Ball. Where you literally get inside a giant plastic ball and roll down a gentle slope, you'll never need to be jealous of a hamster again!
