If you want to see every side of the storied Augustusburg Castle, including all museums, exhibitions and the dungeons, this ticket is for you. The anniversary exhibition Elector with vision impressively stages the life and work of palace lord Elector August and his wife Anna. The highlight is the 16th-century electoral banquet staged in a 360-degree projection show - a feast for your senses guaranteed to make you hungry.

Get up close to unique 16th-century murals in the Venus Room. Discover the hunting animal and ornithological museum, including the Hare Room. Marvel at weapons, historical furniture and courtly clothing from the Renaissance era, and peek into the creepy castle dungeon.

The motorcycle museum will please all petrol-heads with its extensive two-wheeler collection. Take your time and explore the MZ prototypes, enduro sport motorcycles, road racing machines from DKW and other unique specimens up close!

To enter the castle museum, please use the main entrance in the courtyard of Augustusburg Castle. The entrance to the special exhibition is located in the north gate of the castle.

Take care this palace is not in Cologne. When searching for this palace in Kaul, the first result is this experience, using advantage of another palace under the same name. Looks like this is a common issue, as when we arrived at the palace the management there told us we are not the first people with same issue. Tried to contact the support for help, but of course nothing helpful.
