Totally worth it!
Access to locked areas with a knowledgeable guide. Daniela was a superb guide who brought the history of Venice and the Doges alive for us. Highly recommended tour.

The art in the main palace was overwhelming, there was so much of it - all religious and classical, but if you are at all into art or architecture it has to be seen at least once in a life.
