Having returned from 4 days in Venice, I can thoroughly recommend this card. If you are planning to do a lot of sightseeing, it certainly saves a money. Just be aware that the 'museum card' needs collecting from Doges Palace and 'church card' from one of 3 churches before they can be used - they are not available from any other venues. We found the walking tour very informative and the island tour interesting but a) the boat engine made it difficult to hear the commentary - make sure you sit under a speaker and b) not enough time allowed to visit lace or glass museum which are also included on the card. The gondola ride was disappointing. Despite saying it would be on the canals we just went on the Grand Canal and did not even reach the Accademia Bridge. We walked everywhere. Make sure you have a good map as it is easy to get lost!
