All eyes are on the London Eye when tourists arrive, so it's best to avoid peak times – between 11:00 and 15:00.

Instead, plan to arrive right when the attraction opens, or just before it closes. If you get lucky, you may even witness a sunset over the Thames.

The nearest tube station is Waterloo – alight here and exit on the South Bank. From there, it's a 5-minute walk to the London Eye (you can't miss it!).
