Glad we spent the time going thru the Knossos Palace. It is a large complex that was made clearer by hiring a guide to explain.

We were waiting in a long line at the gates, I hopped online and bought our tickets within minutes and skipped past the line right into the site. Definitely recommend.

The audio tour that we purchased as an add-on was disappointing. It told stories instead of facts about the site itself, and didn't guide us to several very important areas.
