  • During the summer, visit in the morning to beat the Spanish heat, and bring water and sunscreen

  • Admission is free for disabled people, children under 13, and Seville residents with a valid ID

  • On Mondays from April to September, you can enter for free from 18:00 – 19:00

  • On Mondays from October to March, you can enter for free from 16:00 – 17:00

It is so worth it, do not plan another excursion on the same day as you will want to spend a lot of time there. Get prepared to walk a lot. The only sour point is that there is no

Excellent
Enjoyable and the guide told the history in an entertaining and informative manor. Only downside was the gardens being closed but that was a council decision and out of the tour companies control.

The Royal Alcázar of Seville is a royal palace in Seville, built for the Christian king Peter of Castile. A preeminent example of Mudéjar architecture in the Iberian Peninsula, is renowned as one of the most beautiful. It's the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe, and was registered in 1987 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
