Angkor Wat
Angkor Wat was built by the Khmer King, Suryavarman II, in the early 12th century. It is located in Yaśodharapura, now known as Angkor in Siam Reap, Cambodia. Originally built as a Hindu temple, it was later transformed into a Buddhist temple. Angkor Wat is such a symbol of Cambodia that it even appears on the national flag!
