The experience with the booked tours has been terrible. The day (late afternoon) before visiting Auschwitz we got a message that we needed to be at the pick-up point at 03:10 AM instead of the booked pick-up time of 10:00 AM. Leaving in the middle of the night instead of late morning is unacceptable. The trip consisted of waiting for more than 5 hours in line to get an entrance ticket. Waiting in line was horrible and even led to the collapse of one of the other tourists in our group. We did not return before 17:00 PM. The day after we were visiting the Salt mine. The trip was planned at 9:00 AM but rescheduled to 07:00 AM. We were not allowed to follow the full tour because we needed to run back to the bus. This led to skipping the museum visit. The website is misguiding you with the timeslots that you can choose.
Contacting Tiqets does not help, they just like to point fingers and state that they are just a middle-man. They don't take any responsibility for their third-party suppliers. They are just claiming their share without taking responsibility for their offerings. Don't book here, promises are not met.
