About: Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park

Explore the Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park in Bali and see the impressive GWK statue. The statue features God Vishnu riding the mythical bird, Garuda, and took 28 years to complete.

Conceived in 1989 by artist I Nyoman Nuarta, the statue was finally finished in 2018 with the assembly of 754 modules. Stroll through the park and see the 122-meter statue surrounded by beautiful scenery.
