The Espai Cràter is a multidisciplinary center that showcases information and research about volcanoes, earth science, and its impact on society. The center hosts several buildings on its campus, including the Sala Magma, which holds a variety of cultural and corporate events. Additional buildings include the Aula Bufador, reserved for educational activities, and the Zona Sísmica, designed for work and research in the field of volcanology.
Halle de la Machine is an exhibition of performance machines, where each one moves and tells a tale. Think giant, walking manmade contraptions on a real-life runway. Visitors can explore the machines’ 'stable' aka a giant hall in the Avenue de l'Aérodrome de Montaudran, in Toulouse, France.
Gala Dalí Castle, or the Castle of Púbol, is a medieval castle located in Púbol, Girona, in the region of Catalonia.
The castle was famously bought by legendary Surrealist painter Salvador Dalí, as a gift for his wife, Gala, who lived out her twilight years here, and is buried in the castle crypt. During her stay in the castle, she was visited by her husband, but only when he had advance written permission.
The Girona Museum of Art is popular for two reasons. Firstly, it's home to some of the most important art in Catalonia, with a timeline of works dating back almost a thousand years. Secondly, it's housed inside the old Episcopal Palace.
