Paintings and golden details adorn the walls of the Joanina Library, which was built in memory of King John V in 1728.

Beautiful library/ you have 10 minutes in restricted numbers to gawp at the extraordinary loveliness of the library. The palace had three rooms/ the ceiling in the main room was stunning.
