If Interlaken had a king, he would reside on the Harder Kulm. However, you don't need to be a king to get to the top – just take a seat in the funicular and ascend Interlaken's own mountain. Located close to Interlaken in the Bernese Alps, Harder Kulm offers visitors an incredible view from the lookout platform at 1,322 metres above sea level, with Unterseen, Interlaken, Lake Brienz and Lake Thun below, and peaks of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau above.

Swissminiatur is an open-air miniature park, and a great chance to see Switzerland in miniature if you don't have time to cover the real thing. It's located on the shore of Lake Lugano in Melide, very close to the Melide train station. Most of the buildings are waist height, at a scale of 1:25. They were built to represent the most important buildings, monuments and transportation means in Switzerland, and kids will love the bumper cars and train rides on offer.
