History doesn't get any older than this in the Netherlands. Drenthe's hunebedden are prehistoric tombstones built by the Funnel Beaker Culture. The stones themselves are about 150,000 years old!

The largest of these rocky arrangements, the ingeniously named D27, is just a stone's throw from the hunebed museum. Find out where the famous dolmens came from and learn about the first humans' traditions and daily lives. See a fascinating boulder garden, a Prehistoric Park, and more!

Het was een super mooie en fijne vakantie weekend, De eigenaren waren zeer vriendelijk. de kamer was super toegankelijk voor de rolstoel. alleen het aanrecht en het fornuis waren iets te hoog. de bedden zijn goed te verstellen en sliepen goed. gebruik maken van de tuinen was super. En het ontbijt was heerlijk.
