Want to see the flamboyant and famous Parc Güell in Barcelona? Save yourself the hassle of printing paper tickets by downloading our forest-friendly smartphone tickets. It's what Gaudí would have wanted. (You can tell he loved nature by the giant lizard loitering in mosaic-form around the entrance!)

This colorful park perched high on the hills was named after Count Eusebi Güell – and originally intended as a gated community for the city's well-to-do. It was opened to everyone when Gaudí passed away in 1926, and at that point the architect himself had called it home for the last 20 years.

It gets even more fanciful inside. Man-made walls, roads, and walkways mimic natural forms. Exuberant buildings, colorful tile work and the amazing snaking Serpent Bench all beg for you to take a photo. And the views of Barcelona from up high are like no other!

Park Güell is a testament to Gaudí's one-of-a-kind imagination, and it's bound to inspire yours, too.

NOTE: Access to the Casa Gaudí Museum (Gaudí's former home in Park Güell) requires a separate ticket.

Timed visits to the Parc are well organised and efficient. The rest of the Parc where entry is free is also really lovely to visit and walk around. Take water with you as cafe facilities limited although the bar/cafe just to the right of the main entrance is very good value considering it's location.

Tiqets was great, Park Guell was half being renovated and had huge queues and crowds - price also did not include Gaudi House museum which is right next door so it's quite expensive for what it is...

Park Güell was beautiful and well worth the small amount paid for entry, I would recommend anyone take a morning or afternoon out of their trip to stroll around the grounds. You won't be disappointed!

The park was under a lot of construction. Kinda took away from the special feel. Just felt like a tourist trap now

Easy to access via the metro then shuttle bus. It was lovely to stroll through the park. I would recommend climbing up to the highest point and get an outstanding view od the city, though only if you are fit and able-bodied.
