Try not to visit when raining, we had and it wasn’t the best experience because of this. The windows were completely steamed up with condensation we could barely see a thing the entire trip which made the whole hour for us a waste of time. Another major point is to make sure to know exactly where you are going. There are a number of these canal experiences and we had to go to a few to finally find the one we originally booked, which can be frustrating with the busy streets of Amsterdam.
