A wonderful house in a beautiful setting. Explains the life of a great writer like Sir Walter Scott and brings it all alive. Well worth the trip David

A very worthwhile visit. The optional tour of the house with ‘Walter Scott’ as the guide brought it to life. The gardens and walk along the Tweed River were beautiful. We saw otters as well as ducks in the river.

Most enjoyable. Very knowledgeable volunteers. Good audio description and great cafe with good range of vegan options. Enjoyed walk with dogs too.
