Both tours were well-organized, although the one at the Louvre had a better atmosphere and included a guide who provided a wealth of interesting information. Thanks to the tour, we avoided the lines at the Eiffel Tower, but the entire visit was self-guided, except for the initial orientation. Tours aren't the most affordable option, but for someone planning a trip at the last minute, they're a very good idea (especially the Louvre). I recommend it.
