Started off a little late but we’ll, ours was a large group. We viewed some of the historical items excavated when the Syntagma metro was put in. Most of the tour was informative but quite repetitive (our guide saying the same thing 3 or 4 times). By the time we got to the Acropolis it was 12noon, very hot and 1 couple had already left the tour. We were at the bottom of the Acropolis and still had 1/2 hr of the tour left. We decided to leave the tour and make our own way to the top. Perhaps reverse the tour and start at the Dionysus Theater entrance while it is still cool.
