왓 아룬 (새벽의 신전) 소개
왓 아룬은 차오프라야 강 유역에서 우뚝 솟은 미사일 모양의 사원입니다. 새벽의 신전으로 알려진 이 신전은 새벽의 인도 신 아룬의 이름을 따서 명명되었습니다. 아유타야가 파괴된 후, 탁신 왕은 우연히 작은 현지 신사를 발견하고 이곳이 새로운 수도 시암의 장소가 되어야 한다는 경사스러운 신호로 해석했습니다.
오늘날 이 사원은 방콕에서 가장 상징적인 건축물 중 하나이며, 몇 안 되는 불교 사원 중 하나는 말할 것도 없습니다.
