Took friends from Nepal. They enjoyed it immensely. I am elderly and disabled so sat having a Devonshire tea which filled in the time. Also spent time chatting with a delightful lady at Gold Museum and bought some glasses.

Overall it was a good visit, especially the mine tour. Lots of staff around and an excellent portrayal of life in the area in the 1850’s. However, the start, getting in, was chaotic to say the... 더 보기

Overall it was a good visit, especially the mine tour. Lots of staff around and an excellent portrayal of life in the area in the 1850’s. However, the start, getting in, was chaotic to say the very least. They need a better (and faster) queuing system and signposting for those with prepaid tickets. And the signposting inside Sovereign Hill was inadequate. Yes, we eventually worked it out, but a few signs would have been helpful. But nevertheless, we had a good visit. We were there for about 5 hours, and time didn’t drag. Getting there by public transport was simple as well.
