Definitely an evening visit makes the atmosphere so much better!
We went at 1900 and there was plenty of “window shopping” to be done if that’s your thing.

홍등가 비밀 박물관 소개
암스테르담 성매매 박물관이라고도 불리는 '홍등가의 비밀' 박물관은 유명한(악명 높은?) 홍등가에서 벌어지는 일을 엿볼 수 있는 곳이에요. Oudezijds Achterburgwal 60H에 위치한 이 박물관은 현지인들이 '드 발렌(De Wallen·네덜란드어로 '홍등가'라는 뜻)'이라고 부르는 그림 같은 운하 중 하나에 자리하고 있으며 중앙역(Centraal Station)에서 도보로 5분밖에 걸리지 않습니다.
