The scope of this remarkable place amazed me! As a newcomer to Las Vegas, I had many questions about how to successfully garden in this dry, rocky environment. Our visit last Saturday, to take a class in gardening, delightfully exceeded every expectation. So much great information and such a beautifully landscaped, park-like vibe! I have never seen so many different desert plants, and so many colorful, flowering plants that inspired us to start digging, enriching our soil and getting things planted as soon as the weather cools down!
The architecture is stunning as well! What a treasure we have discovered! So many educational resources for all ages. We will definitely return for more classes. Many thanks to Charles, who taught us well! We were able to see the teaching garden and marvel over the fact that we could successfully grow even non-desert plants, armed with the guidance to be gained at Springs Preserve.
We can’t wait to see the museum, the butterfly garden and to take in more workshops/classes. The Vegas community is blessed to have this wonderful oasis in the midst of the city! Who knew!

Got in very smoothly. The preserve was beyond beautiful. Very clean and very friendly staff.
